Couples Counseling

You fell in love. You built a life together. And somehow, the person who once felt like your safest place can become the person who hurts you the most.

Sometimes couples get stuck in the same fights, having the same conversation over and over without ever really feeling heard or understood. Sometimes there’s resentment, distance, or a sense that you’re both trying so hard—and somehow still missing each other. And sometimes life itself changes the relationship: becoming parents, shifting family dynamics, loss, stress, or other major transitions can leave you feeling like you don’t quite know how to find your way back to each other.

I work with couples who are tired of feeling stuck and want to understand what’s happening between them—not just who is right or wrong. We’ll slow things down, look beneath the arguments and the hurt, and make space for what each of you is really trying to say.

My approach draws from Gottman Method-informed principles and training, while staying collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your relationship. Together, we’ll work on communicating in ways that actually feel productive, understanding the patterns that keep pulling you apart, navigating conflict differently, and rebuilding a sense of connection and safety.

You don’t have to stop loving each other before you ask for help. Sometimes therapy is about finding your way back to the parts of your relationship that got buried underneath everything else.
