Child & Teen Therapy

You know your child. But lately, you’re not sure what they need from you.

Maybe your child is anxious about things that seem small to everyone else. Maybe they melt down over homework, get incredibly frustrated when they make a mistake, or seem to hold themselves to impossibly high standards.

Maybe they're struggling to make friends, having a hard time managing big emotions, constantly saying they're “bad” at something, or coming home from school completely overwhelmed. Maybe they've been through a loss or major change and you can tell something is different—but they don't have the words to tell you why.

And sometimes, you just find yourself thinking:

“I know my child is struggling. I just don't know how to help.”

That's where therapy can help.

I work with children and teens navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, school stress, perfectionism, social difficulties, grief, and major life transitions. I take the time to understand the whole child—their personality, strengths, relationships, emotions, and the things they may not yet know how to put into words.

Therapy looks different depending on the child. I use a combination of evidence-based and creative approaches, including CBT, mindfulness, play therapy, and art therapy, and tailor the work to your child's age, personality, and needs.

And because your child doesn't live in a therapy office, you are an important part of the process. When helpful and appropriate, I involve parents and caregivers so you can better understand what's going on and feel more confident about what to do when the big feelings, conflicts, or challenges show up at home.

My goal isn't simply to help your child “behave better.” It's to help them understand themselves, feel more confident and capable, develop practical emotional skills, and feel supported through whatever they're navigating.

You don't have to figure out how to help your child alone.
